About the Role
We're looking for an experienced bookkeeper to handle monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and VAT return preparation for a portfolio of practice clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients on Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Bank reconciliation and query resolution
- VAT return preparation (standard, flat rate, and cash accounting)
- Aged debtor/creditor management
- Liaising with UK-based account managers on client queries
- Meeting agreed turnaround time SLAs
Requirements
- AAT Level 4 or ACCA part-qualified (minimum)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Xero Advisor certification
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage 50
- Strong understanding of UK VAT rules
- Excellent attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dext or AutoEntry
- Experience working in a UK practice environment
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
