Client Services Manager

About the Role

Experienced accountant to manage a portfolio of client relationships, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary UK-based point of contact for a portfolio of 20–30 practice clients
  • Quality review of work before client delivery
  • Onboarding new clients and setting up workflows
  • Managing team capacity and prioritisation
  • Monthly client calls and reporting
  • Escalation management and problem resolution

Requirements

  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • 5+ years in an accounting role with client management experience
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT, and accounting processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience reviewing and quality-controlling accounting work
  • Organised, proactive, and deadline-focused

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an accounting practice or outsourcing environment
  • Team management experience
  • Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager or Karbon
