About the Role
Experienced accountant to manage a portfolio of client relationships, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary UK-based point of contact for a portfolio of 20–30 practice clients
- Quality review of work before client delivery
- Onboarding new clients and setting up workflows
- Managing team capacity and prioritisation
- Monthly client calls and reporting
- Escalation management and problem resolution
Requirements
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- 5+ years in an accounting role with client management experience
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT, and accounting processes
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Experience reviewing and quality-controlling accounting work
- Organised, proactive, and deadline-focused
Nice to Have
- Experience in an accounting practice or outsourcing environment
- Team management experience
- Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager or Karbon
